E-Learning for Beneficiaries’ Program and Services
Since 2019, APV has been a key partner supporting the Medicare Plan Payment Group (MPPG) within CMS. The MPPG manages operations, policy development, and research related to risk adjustment for payments to Medicare Advantage (MA) organizations and Prescription Drug Plans (Part D).
APV has enhanced the quality and efficiency of programs benefiting Medicare recipients by delivering comprehensive technical, operational, and project management support. This includes training and outreach services to strengthen Medicare Advantage
(Part C) and Prescription Drug (Part D) programs.
Benefits/Outcomes
Hosts web-based training events for over 800 CMS staff and healthcare providers.
Resolved over 10,700 of the 15,000 cases since the implementation of IMS in 2021, there by reducing CMS workload by over 70%.
Created innovative, computer-based training courses to enhance users’ understanding of available systems, processes, and reporting.​
Ensured adherence to CMS’ new software development life cycle governance process.
